Program Description
This course lays the foundation for confident and objective candidate assessment. Participants learn how to develop a clear view of each applicant, form a working hypothesis, and identify green and red flags against defined selection criteria. As the first step in a broader assessment series, this module focuses on structure, observation, and removing bias from early-stage decisions.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, particpants will be able to:
- Design and apply a consistent assessment approach from first contact.
- Analyse applications and early interactions to form a clear candidate hypothesis.
- Identify key signals, including both green flags and red flags, aligned with selection criteria.
- Use structured questioning and active listening to deepen understanding of candidate fit.
- Recognise and mitigate unconscious bias that can cloud assessment and lead to poor hiring decisions.
