Online Dojo Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all individuals engaging with Corporate Dojo’s online services, whether as a Student (granted a user license through the purchase of a single course or a bundle of courses) or as a Member (subscribing to the Online Dojo). Unless expressly stated otherwise, all provisions in these Terms apply equally to both Students and Members.
1. Services
- In exchange for the membership/user fee, Corporate Dojo grants the Member/Student a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to access and use the Online Dojo for personal and professional development, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Corporate Dojo may update or vary the services and content available within the Online Dojo at its discretion.
- Additional services may be offered at an extra cost.
2. Member and Student Obligations
The Member/Student agrees to:
- Participate in live sessions under the Chatham House Rule.
- Ensure access is limited to the authorised individual.
- Take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.
- Notify Corporate Dojo of any security breaches.
- Comply with all relevant laws and these Terms.
The Member/Student must not:
- Disrupt or interfere with the platform or its performance.
- Share login details.
- Use the content for commercial or competitive purposes.
- Infringe any intellectual property rights of Corporate Dojo or its partners.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce content.
Members are expected to participate respectfully and professionally in all aspects of the Online Dojo. Any behaviour deemed discriminatory, harassing, abusive, or disruptive may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.
Corporate Dojo reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if these obligations are breached.
3. Access to the Online Dojo
- It may take up to 2 business days for access to be opened after payment.
- Corporate Dojo may change platform features and support models at its discretion.
- While every effort is made to ensure quality and 24/7 access to the platform, Corporate Dojo does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Events outside Corporate Dojo’s control (e.g., natural disasters, outages) and urgent maintenance may also be required during business hours to address faults or avoid major disruptions.
- Usage may be monitored to ensure platform security and compliance with these Terms.
4. Privacy
Corporate Dojo will:
- Adhere to Australian privacy laws and its privacy policy.
- Use partners and third-party services where needed, which may involve data being stored or processed outside Australia.
5. Membership Fees and Payments
100% of the total membership/user fee is payable in advance of access being granted
Monthly Membership – Individual and Corporate
- A minimum three-month commitment applies to all memberships.
- After this period, memberships continue on a rolling monthly basis and may be cancelled with one month’s written notice.
- Cancellations can be submitted via the Online Dojo member portal or by contacting info@corporatedojo.com.
- Access may be suspended for any members covered by an unpaid invoice.
Failed Payments
- Automatic payment reminders will be issued for any failed recurring transactions.
- Any associated default fees will be passed on to the Member or corporate account holder.
- After two consecutive failed payments, membership will be suspended and may be cancelled if not resolved within 30 days.
6. Confidentiality
- Both parties must keep the other’s confidential information secure.
- Disclosure is permitted only where legally required or to advisers, insurers, or affiliates and must be limited to necessary information.
- This clause survives the end of the membership.
7. Intellectual Property
- Corporate Dojo retains full ownership of all intellectual property in the Online Dojo, services, and associated content.
- The Member/Student must not claim ownership, copy, reproduce, or attempt to create competing products.
- We reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect our intellectual property, including revoking access where misuse is detected. These rights remain in place even after membership ends.
8. Termination
Corporate Dojo may terminate a membership/student immediately by written notice if a member/student breaches these Terms or engages in conduct that damages the reputation or integrity of Corporate Dojo or the Online Dojo community.
9. Transferability
- Memberships and user license ownership are non-transferable unless expressly agreed by Corporate Dojo.
- Where an organisation pays for membership, transfers to a new employee may be requested in writing and will take effect one month after approval.
