Age is no barrier: Why Australian businesses need to give older workers a fair go

The fact our population is ageing, and the implications this has for our economy, has been well understood for a number of decades. The harsh reality is that mature aged workers have a reduced chance of finding themselves employment when compared with younger people. A study found that 30% of employers are still reluctant to hire workers over a certain age. Employers need to give everyone a fair go.
